Sunday’s Cholet Pays de la Loire featured the second round of the Coupe de France where Pier-André Coté sprinted to an impressive 12th place finish. The 150km race in the Maine-et-Loire department of western France tackled seven categorized climbs on the outskirts of town before hitting the final circuit for six challenging laps. Photographer Ethan Glading was on hand to document the team’s first French Cup event of 2021.
The performance bodes well for the team’s return to La Roue Tourangelle on Sunday, April 4, as Robin Carpenter looks to improve on his runner-up finish from 2019.
Bassett, Carpenter, Coté, Dal-Cin, De Vos, Oronte, Sheffield, and Swirbul took the start.
