Tour de Suisse showdown in Andermatt

The final setting of this year’s Tour de Suisse was the picturesque village of Andermatt, nestled neatly in the Swiss Alps and located a scant 40km from the Italian border. Gavin Mannion started the day within touching distance of the KOM jersey but after the first climb switched his focus to a stage result, eventually finishing in 19th place, 1’38” down on stage winner Gino Mader (Bahrain Victorius).

Over the course of the eight-stage race, Nickolas Zukowsky spent two days leading the KOM competition while Joey Rosskopf fought his way to a podium finish on stage 4. The team’s American riders will now prep for US Nationals from June 17 – 20 while the rest take a mid-season break.

Thank you Anthony Leutenegger for the fantastic photo coverage of this year’s race.
