Men climb Casitas Pass and Sulphur Mountain

The men’s team arrived in Oxnard, California for their pre-Vuelta a San Juan training camp this week. With warm temperatures, dry air, and plenty of climbing to choose from, Southern California serves as the ideal location to prepare for the first race of the season.

Rob Britton, Nate Brown, Robin Carpenter, Colin Joyce, Gavin Mannion, and Kyle Murphy didn’t waste any time in getting after it. A 3-4 hour planned route turned into 5 hours as they added every incline they could find, a positive indicator of their form and motivation heading into the Argentinean opener. (Photos by Sam Wiebe)
