The opening prologue of this year’s Tour of Utah was a shock to the system. An all-out 5 km effort around Snowbird Resort at over 8,000 ft in elevation. Each rider gave it everything with Kyle Murphyflying the highest and placing fifth, 12 seconds down on the stage winner. Gavin Mannion finished a further three seconds back in sixth and 2017 overall champion and current Canadian TT champ Rob Britton crossed the line in 14th.
