Men’s training camp in Castellón de la Plana, Spain is winding down. It’s been 10 days of hard riding, trust building, and goal setting. Riders debuted the team’s exciting new bike and kit designs for the upcoming season while they became reacquainted with the pain in their legs alongside their teammates. Comprised of mostly North American riders, the team had to navigate countless hurdles in getting the riders to Europe. A week into camp riders were still trickling in one at a time. Fortunately for us, photographer Tristan Cardew was on hand to capture it all.
The long twisting ascents away from the Spanish coast are a true sight to behold.
Two-up pacelines rarely break formation on the flats.
Little to no traffic to be found.
Would you rather scurry up the hillside for the perfect shot or fly downhill on your bike?
Emerson Oronte keeps pace with Gavin Mannion.
Long-time friends Gavin Mannion and Nate Brown negotiate an uphill switchback.
Clara Koppenburg traveled down from Germany to join the guys for the week.
New recruits Magnus Sheffield and Ben King lead the way. There was a lot of this going on.
The custom LEM helmets, Pactimo kit, and Felt bikes are really putting in the work.
The best feeling. Beautiful tarmac, old town in back drop, and knowing a photographer was there to capture it.
The overwhelming sense from camp was a feeling of gratitude. Gathering with friends and doing something you love.
