Do what you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

Colin Joyce grew up playing soccer until he discovered the bicycle at age 15. His father, and a family friend, recommended cycling as it was a good way to stay active and get outdoors. He decided to give it a go and ended up enjoying it. Joyce continued to progress year to year, and after two years at Idaho State University, he decided to put a pause on his education and pursue cycling to the best of his abilities.

How often you are in the outdoors, and the active lifestyle. Being able to push your body is fun.

Racing obstacle you overcame?

I guess not being very good was an obstacle I had to overcome... Now that I think about it, I suppose I'm still trying to overcome it!

I'm pretty unbiased towards cheat meals. If it has a lot of sugar, I'm sure you'll find me enjoying it.

Favorite healthy meal or snack?

Sushi is pretty healthy, right?

Tip for staying healthy?

I think finding a good balance in all aspects of life is a wonderful way to stay healthy. It's OK to enjoy a day off or a dessert. As long as they aren't happening all the time, it is a good way to stay happy which leads to healthy!

What motivates you to ride?

I get pretty motivated by seeing how good I can get in this sport.
