Staying positive goes a long way with being healthy.

White is one of five siblings, one of them being Rally Cycling teammate Curtis White. She started racing at 9 years old and quickly developed a reputation in the North East as a top road and cyclo-cross racer. Her results garnered her place on the United States National team as well as the cyclocrossworld.com-Cannondale squad. As a junior she developed into one of the best riders in the world, capping a brilliant junior career with dual silver medals at the 2015 UCI World Championships. In addition to moving into the professional ranks in 2016, She starts her first year of college at Union College in Schenectady, New York.

What inspired

I certainly wouldn't be doing this today if it weren't for my brother, Curtis. He started riding and racing about two years before I did and I couldn't just watch from the sidelines.

Racing obstacle you overcame?

School is an ongoing obstacle. It's not easy balancing the two, but it is so worth it! It comes down to having a good relationship with my teachers and communicating frequently while I'm traveling. I have been really lucky with their support so far.

Favorite

I cheat with Chocolate croissants from Starbucks.

Favorite healthy meal or snack?

I'm a sucker for the easy, go-to egg sandwich in the mornings! I make them with an English muffin, runny yoke, some Swiss cheese, Grey Poupon mustard, spinach and ham.

Tip for staying healthy?

Staying positive goes a long way with being healthy. Finding things that make you happy relieve stress and make your life that much better. Riding a bike is great place to start.

What motivates

My brother always motivates me. I'm also constantly thinking about my grandparents when I'm racing. They were always my biggest fans and although they aren't around to see how far I've come, I know they are happy for me.
