What inspired you to ride?
I started riding a spin bike as a form of cross-training and rehabilitation from chronic hamstring injuries. When I graduated from Vanderbilt and called it quits on my running career, I decided to take my riding outside.
Racing obstacle you overcame?
A number of hard crashes and broken bones.
Favorite cheat meal?
I don't have a nutritional plan to cheat on: I like all the food I eat. If I don't like it, why would I eat it?
Favorite healthy meal or snack?
Oatmeal + banana + nut butter + sweetener + milk.
Tip for staying healthy?
Define physical, mental and emotional health and find people who support you and enable you to have the life you want.
What motivates you to ride?
Myself. In the rare occasion that I'm motivated to not ride, all the credit in the world to my coach.
