“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. - Joshua 1:9”
What inspired you to ride?
My sister and I started bringing bikes on family trips to ride with my dad, then raced mountain bikes throughout high school. I gave road racing a go freshman year of college. It was a totally different form of racing with drafting dynamics and team tactics that I fell in love with.
Racing obstacle you overcame?
Balancing racing with school has its challenges with making time and maintaining a drive for both. But each one motivates the other, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Favorite cheat meal?
Favorite healthy meal or snack?
Dark chocolate-covered nuts.
Tip for staying healthy?
Consistency. Initial changes in routines or lifestyles may feel like going against the current, but over time can become habits towards success.
What motivates you to ride?
I thrive on the social aspect of cycling. Pushing each other on group rides, telling stories; and the camaraderie off the bike when the training is done.
