About Megan
What inspired you to ride?
Initially, riding my bike was just what we did as a family; trips along the beach trail or around the neighborhood having fun! It was my dad who sparked my interest in racing on the road. He taught me the fundamentals and tactics of racing, but it was my desire to do as well as my older brother that made me push harder.
Racing obstacle you overcame?
I have been lucky enough to not have any major obstacles, so far.
Favorite cheat meal?
Ice cream! I have an addiction
Favorite healthy meal or snack?
A cold apple with peanut butter
Tip for staying healthy?
Set priorities, don’t let negative people bother you, stay active, take care of yourself (mentally and physically), and drink lots of water.
What motivates you to ride?
Knowing that every time I go out and train, I am taking another step on my path to reaching my goals.
